I love coming here after church and sometimes just because. The food is great and the staff is always friendly, especially the young ladies covering the front counter. Nothing beats homegrown restaurant with such quality.

My go to spot when I don't feel like cooking but want a great hot home cooked meal... they never disappoint... Thanks Southern Hands for your great hospitality and your delicious always hot and fresh soul food!!!

I had no idea that this location was on Kirby and popular. Honestly after tasting his food this is one of my favorite locations. My food was fresh and still hot when I got it. The customer service is great and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this location.

Not enough stars on here to give them. They were out of fish so I had their huge helping of meatloaf with the best candied yams I've ever had and my cavities were treated to the sweetest of teas. Leave room for the sweetest, softest cornbread too. I'll definitely be going back.
